Gif2SL Studio — Third-Party Notices

Earth Machina is the publisher's trade name, not a separate legal entity.

Gif2SL Studio contains or is built with third-party software. Those components
are owned by their respective copyright holders and are governed by their own
licenses. The Gif2SL Studio proprietary license does not replace, restrict, or
supersede those licenses.

The Windows release includes a "Third Party Licenses" folder containing the
license and notice files collected from the exact installed components used to
make that release. COMPONENT_VERSIONS.txt in that folder records their versions.

PYTHON

The application includes the Python runtime. Python is distributed under the
Python Software Foundation License and other historical notices included with
that runtime.

PYSIDE6 ESSENTIALS, SHIBOKEN6, AND QT

The user interface uses PySide6 Essentials, Shiboken6, and dynamically linked
Qt libraries. The community edition is used under applicable GNU Lesser General
Public License terms. Qt and PySide are copyrights and trademarks of their
respective owners. See OPEN_SOURCE_COMPLIANCE.txt and the complete license texts
in the Third Party Licenses folder.

PILLOW

Image processing uses Pillow. Pillow is distributed under its permissive Pillow
license; its copyright and permission notices are reproduced in the Third Party
Licenses folder.

PYAV

Media decoding uses PyAV. PyAV is distributed under the BSD 3-Clause License.
Its copyright notice, license conditions, and disclaimer are reproduced in the
Third Party Licenses folder.

FFMPEG

PyAV uses dynamically linked FFmpeg libraries. An approved Gif2SL Studio release
must use an Earth Machina-verified LGPL-only FFmpeg/PyAV runtime. The release
builder rejects a runtime that enables GPL or nonfree FFmpeg features or bundles
known GPL-only x264/x265 libraries.

The FFmpeg libraries in an approved build are distributed under the GNU Lesser
General Public License version reported in the build inventory (normally
version 2.1 or later, or version 3 or later when version 3 features are enabled).
FFmpeg is a trademark of Fabrice Bellard, originator of the FFmpeg project.

PYINSTALLER

PyInstaller is used to create the Windows application folder. Its bootloader
exception permits the resulting application to be distributed under the
application's own license while the PyInstaller project remains under its own
license.

NO ENDORSEMENT

The names of third-party projects and copyright holders are used only to identify
the software included with Gif2SL Studio. Their inclusion does not imply that
they sponsor or endorse Earth Machina or Gif2SL Studio.
